Strawberry Banana Nice Cream

kcalYou love dessert but don’t necessarily love serving yourself of loved ones a bowl of sugar. This 3-ingredient nice cream is easy, quick, and while it’s sweet enough that kids enjoy it, it’s sophisticated enough to serve adults at a dinner party. Every time we make it, we ask ourselves why we don’t make it more often.
Ingredients
1ยฝ cups frozen strawberries
1ยฝ cups frozen bananas
ยฝ cup milk of choice
Directions
- Remove frozen fruit from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 3-5 minutes to slightly soften.
- Add frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, and milk to your high-speed blender.
- Blend on high speed, using the tamper to continuously push ingredients down into the blades. Note: You will feel resistance when using the tamper โ this is normal and will not damage your blender when used on high speed.
- Continue blending and tamping until the mixture reaches a smooth, creamy soft-serve consistency.

Notes
- For best results, peel and slice bananas before freezing
- Serve right away for soft-serve consistency
- Recipe is configured for a 48-ounce container. Scale upwards by 1.5x if you’re using a 64-ounce.
- Storage & Serving
-For make-ahead portions, divide nice cream into individual servings before freezing
-When ready to eat, let frozen portions thaw on counter until softened to desired consistency
-Top with shredded coconut, fresh fruit, nuts, or granola
