kcalA few common questions we get: Can you help me with meal planning? Can you help me eat more vegetables without getting bored? Can you help me get greens into the mouths of my picky eaters? Our response always starts with the same thing: Green juice. The original Life is NOYOKE Green Juice blend where no juicer is needed. Get into the habit of making it at least every other day. Aside from our queso, this green juice formula has been the most life-changing part of our routine. And my dad’s routine. And our picky-eating son with special needs’ routine. It’s absolutely delicious and invigorating; not too sweet, yet kids love it. Credit to 3rd generation CEO of Vitamix, John Barnard who taught me about green juice available being his responsibility, “I’m in charge of making green juice. I make it every day and make sure there’s always some available for someone who needs a snack. We’ll provide an exact recipe below. It’s important to get it right the first few times. But we do not measure anymore. We follow the formula. The green juice formula follows these three steps: Fruit (little bit). Greens (a lot). Seeds (little bit). Then, there are three keys to success: Water / ice, lemon, ginger. Finally, we like to finish the green juice with a little kick. Any hot pepper works, but we like jalapeno. Notes
- This works best in a 64-ounce container. For smaller blenders, reduce all ingredients proportionally.
- The order of ingredients matters: always layer liquid first, then fruits, greens, and ice on top.
- Feel free to customize the ingredients to your taste while maintaining the basic formula.
- Storage
Store extra juice in mason jars in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
If juice separates during storage, simply shake to recombine.
