kcalIs it possible to make a grapefruit smoothie? That was our challenge, and we present a legend: The Pinkman. A deliciously tart, wonderfully refreshing smoothie with just four ingredients: grapefruit, strawberries, apple, and ginger. Named after one of the greatest characters on one of the greatest shows of all time, this is a drink Jesse Pinkman would appreciate.
Ingredients
1 whole grapefruit, peeled
2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
1 whole apple, cored
1 thumbnail-sized piece of ginger
4 ounces water (optional)
Directions
- Prep
- Preparation
- Peel the grapefruit
- Core the apple
- Blending
- Add ingredients to blender, starting with softer fruits
- Blend for 60 seconds until smooth
Notes
- For a thinner, juice-like consistency, use fresh strawberries instead of frozen and add the optional water
