RA Relief Juice

kcalWe wanted to create a green juice blend that would provide some relief for folks suffering from rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This is a version of our popular NOYOKE Green Juice blend with more ingredients that have anti-inflammatory properties. It’s designed to be made in a blender, so you get the full benefit of the whole food, fiber and all, without a blood sugar spike. This recipe makes enough for several 12-ounce servings and lasts in the fridge for 48 hours. Have it for breakfast and you’ll feel better than you have in a while. Then again the next day, and keep the streak alive.
Ingredients
4 cups water
1 green apple, cored
1 orange, peeled
2 cups dark leafy greens (any combination of kale, spinach, collard greens, swiss chard etc)
1 large thumb-sized piece of ginger root (2-3 inches), rinsed (or 1 tablespoon ground ginger)
1 small piece of turmeric root (1-2 inches), rinsed (or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric)
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 lemon peeled
1 stalk of celery
2 tablespoons pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
1 cup of ice
Small piece of hot pepper (optional – capsaicin has anti-inflammatory properties)
Directions
- Wash all produce thoroughly.
- Cut ingredients into pieces that will fit through your juicer or blender.
- Place all ingredients including water in the blender.
- Blend on high until completely smooth (approximately 1-2 minutes).
- Serve right away or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.

- RA is beatable without surgery. Rheumatoid arthritis isn’t actually arthritis. It’s autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks the joints, causing inflammation, pain, and potential joint damage. Basically, your body is mad. This juice will make it happy again right away and steadily more over time.
